Raw material LIMS from receipt to disposition
Material receipt, sampling plans, compendial testing, vendor CoA verification, and reduced testing driven by supplier qualification.
THE PROBLEM
Raw material testing is where a QC lab spends time it would rather spend elsewhere. Every lot is received, quarantined, sampled by a plan, tested against a monograph, compared to the vendor CoA, and dispositioned. Most of that is repeated for suppliers that have been qualified for a decade.
Reduced testing is allowed and rarely implemented well because the LIMS cannot tell whether the supplier's qualification status and trending history justify skipping a test. So the lab runs full testing to be safe.
Labbit drives sampling plans from material and risk class, routes samples into the right compendial test workflows, compares results to the vendor CoA automatically, and applies skip-lot logic based on live supplier qualification status. Full testing triggers when the rules say so, not by default.

Instruments and platforms

Does Labbit support reduced testing and skip-lot logic?
Yes. Skip-lot rules run from supplier qualification status and trending history, with automatic full-test triggers when conditions change.
Can Labbit verify vendor CoAs against internal results?
Yes. Vendor CoA values are captured and compared side by side with internal testing, with discrepancy workflows.
How are sampling plans handled?
Sampling plans are driven by material class and risk, with square root n plus one and custom plans pre-configured and labels generated at receipt.
Is compendial testing linked to pharmacopeia versions?
Yes. Monograph tests track USP, EP, and JP version, with harmonized specification management across pharmacopeias.
