Profesional services

Implementation expertise build into every deployment

Labbit isn't just software. It comes with a professional services team that's deployed hundreds of lab informatics systems. We know where implementations fail—and how to get yours live fast.

services OVERVIEW

End-to-end implementation services

From discovery to go-live and beyond, we ensure your lab gets the full value of Labbit's configurability—without the typical implementation risk.

implementation & deployment

Fast, structured deployment

We configure Labbit to match your workflows using visual BPMN—no heavy development required. Typical implementations take 3–6 months vs. 12–18 months for legacy LIMS. You go live faster without sacrificing compliance or quality.

what’s included:

  • Workflow design & configuration
  • System setup & validation support
  • Integration with existing instruments and systems
  • User acceptance testing coordination

training & change management

Drive adoption from day one

Software only delivers value if people use it correctly. We train your team on Labbit's visual workflow builder, Live View dashboards, and enable you to access your data—so you can manage changes yourself after go-live.

what’s included:

  • Role-based training programs
  • Training sessions & materials
  • Extensive Product Documentation
  • Early user engagement / iterative delivery

validation support

Compliance-ready from the start

Labbit is designed for regulated environments. We support your validation process with documentation, testing protocols, and audit trail configuration to meet 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and ISO requirements.

what’s included:

  • Validation planning & documentation
  • CQ/PQ support
  • Electronic record / electronic signature configuration
  • Regulatory compliance guidance

ongoing support & optimization

Evolve as your science evolves

Labs change. New assays launch, protocols update, and throughput scales. Our post-implementation support ensures you can adapt workflows safely—without waiting in vendor queues or triggering revalidation.

what’s included:

  • Regular engagement with Customer Success Management to ensure your Labbit implementation evolves with your Lab
  • Workflow optimization reviews
  • Platform updates & maintenance
  • Proactive performance monitoring

Proven implementation methodology

We’ve thought through the entire implementation process and continually refined our approach to meet the needs of biotechnology innovators. You’ll get everything you need to be successful with Benchling, in the fastest time possible.

[step 01]

Learn

Our implementation teams work in a sprint system, and you prioritize the work they take on.

Guidance is established from sales discovery and continually refined by ongoing discovery and analysis.

[step 02]

Build

  • The output of every iteration (Sprint) is provided to your teams for acceptance.
  • This methodology means we negate the need for a big-up-front-design effort, while controlling costs, and accommodating any in-flight changes

[step 03]

Implement

  • You will be provided with the information to empower you and your team to control spend and scope
  • We will maintain transparency, and provide analysis, implementation, and expert guidance so we balance cost with efficacy

Why Labbit

Labbit was built by Semaphore Solutions, a team that's delivered hundreds of lab informatics implementations. We didn't start as a software company. We started solving implementation problems. That experience is in the product and in every deployment we run.

"When we saw how Labbit works, it was clear how thoughtfully they built the system to address the challenges their customers had encountered with other LIMS."

John ten Bosch
VP of Laboratory Operations, BillionToOne

"With a Next-Generation LIMS like Semaphore’s Labbit, the high amount of money and effort ultimately wasted when a LIMS solution never gets deployed or adopted may become a problem of the past."

John Conway
Chief Visioneer, 20 / 15 Visioneers

“Labbit empowered us to transcend the traditional trade-offs between advanced features the commercial side of the business wants and the user experience that our laboratorians require.”

Ronak Kadakia
COO, LinusBio

“That’s what stood out when evaluating Labbit—that this LIMS could finally achieve all of our needs with one solution.”

Tyler Cassens
Senior Product Manager, Helix

“Labbit’s flexibility allows us to add as much or as little rigor to workflows as required.”

Lauren Moon
Clinical Laboratory Manager, Eremid

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it required for Labbit Implementation Team to perform the configuration? Can I just configure the system myself?

Customers can configure Labbit themselves with training. We recommend that any customer that implements themselves complete at least 1 week of training. We can provide consultants that can answer questions and help to design a plan that customers can deliver themselves.

How do I impact the Labbit Product roadmap?

We welcome our customer's feedback and will engage product management on each and every request for a new product feature or change. The Labbit roadmap evolves as the needs for our customers change.

How long does it take to implement Labbit?

This varies by customer requirements and complexity, but it is very common for customers to be able to go-live with their first workflows in just a few months by using our Implementation tools.

What does implementation cost?

Implementation scope varies by lab complexity. Costs are discussed transparently during the sales process and aligned to your workflows and timelines.
