Data Discovery & Exploration
Find any record, see everything it's connected to, and pull together the data a review, investigation, or audit request calls for.

Find any record, see everything it's connected to, and pull together the data a review, investigation, or audit request calls for.

THE PROBLEM
Lab teams describe the same experience with legacy systems: data goes in easily and comes back out only after someone builds a custom report or exports it to a spreadsheet. Searching historical samples by anything other than the fields the vendor anticipated often isn't possible.
In QC labs the symptom is familiar. Past data is hard to find, it's hard to know what's in progress, and review prep starts with someone building a spreadsheet. Investigations start slow because the first step is finding the data.
CAPABILITIES
Global search finds a sample by its ID and returns it alongside its locations, reagents, instruments, and the open and completed workbooks it has passed through, so one search shows what a sample touched.
From any record, move to the samples, lots, instruments, and workbooks connected to it, and open its full revision history. Investigations can widen as the questions do, without starting a new search each time.
Build multi-criteria queries across your Labbit data, such as sample type, received date, and priority, then save them to run again at the next review. No query language is required.
Filter, sort, and choose the columns that matter for this review, then open any row straight into its record.
HOW IT WORKS
01
Start from an identifier in global search, or build a query from the fields in your Labbit environment.
02
Move through connected records, and filter and sort result sets down to what this review needs.
03
Open any result to its full record and revision history, and save the query to run again next time.

How is this different from standard LIMS reporting?
Users search, follow connections, and build their own queries from one workspace, then refine and save them, without asking an administrator or consultant for a custom report.
Can we see everywhere a reagent or material lot was used?
Yes. Start from the lot in global search to see the samples, instruments, and workbooks connected to it, then open any record's full history.
Can we see what's in progress across the lab?
Yes. Live View shows running workflows and the queue at each task, so supervisors can see what's in progress without opening individual workbooks.
Can non-technical users explore data?
Yes. Queries are built by picking a field, an operator, and a value, with feedback when a criterion is incomplete. No query language is required.
Who can see what?
Search and queries only return records from the Labbit environments a user has access to.
