Proteomics LIMS for mass spec-based workflows

Sample prep, digestion, LC-MS acquisition, and data handoff for intact protein, TMT multiplex, and targeted proteomics, with instrument capture that keeps up with high-resolution MS.

THE PROBLEM

Where legacy LIMS break down

Proteomics prep is long and branching. Digestion, labeling, fractionation, cleanup, and acquisition each carry their own reagents and their own failure modes, and a TMT multiplex ties a dozen samples together in one channel set that has to be tracked as a unit. If that link breaks anywhere in the chain, there is no reliable way to tell which result belongs to which original sample.

The instruments generate more data than any lab can hand-record, and the LIMS usually stops at the sample list. Run metadata, acquisition method, and pipeline output end up in the vendor software and a shared drive, disconnected from the sample record. So when a result looks off, there's nothing to trace it back to.

Labbit tracks the multiplex set, the digest, and the acquisition run as connected entities, captures instrument metadata through integration, and hands off to the analysis pipeline with sample identity intact. When a result looks wrong, tracing it to the label lot or the acquisition batch takes one query.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Labbit handle TMT and other multiplex sets?

+
-

Yes. Multiplex channel assignment is tracked as a set so pooled samples keep their identity through acquisition and analysis.

Which mass spectrometers does Labbit integrate with?

+
-

Thermo Orbitrap-class instruments, Bruker timsTOF, SCIEX ZenoTOF, and triple-quadrupole LC-MS systems. Acquisition metadata attaches to the sample and run records.

Can Labbit trigger and receive analysis pipeline output?

+
-

Yes. Run completion triggers pipeline handoff, and results return as structured data on the sample record rather than as files on a share.

Is proteomics a clinical or research fit for Labbit?

+
-

Both. The workflows support research proteomics and clinical proteomic assays, with Part 11 controls available where a lab needs them.
